Answering the call
With the current trustee in Area 5 stepping down, there will be a void to fill on our local school board. My family and friends have urged me to run, believing that my experience (both professional, and in our schools and community) mean that, when I am elected, I will be ready to serve on day one because I am already well connected with our education community and I know the challenges we face. I have decided to launch my campaign to make a difference for Carlsbad's children.
